
My name is Isabella Morrone, and I have worked as a chef for over 20 years – a journey that has taken me through some of Sweden's most renowned star restaurants, where I have been both head chef and operated my own restaurants. Many may recognize me from TV shows like Kockarnas kamp, Nyhetsmorgon, or Köket, where I regularly cook and share my passion for good ingredients and well-composed flavors.
About 15 years ago, I began to focus on Italian cuisine – a love that has grown stronger over the years. My cooking is a tribute to authentic Italian, but with a personal twist: I combine Italian techniques and flavors with seasonal Scandinavian ingredients. The result is food with soul, heart, and character – both classic and modern.

Right now, a complete transformation is taking place behind the doors on Folkungagatan, in the heart of Södermalm. This fall, I will be opening the doors to my new restaurant: Isabella Morrone Private Dining – a small and exclusive destination for those seeking something beyond the ordinary.
With only 16 seats, we invite you to an engaging and personal dining experience where every detail is carefully selected. The kitchen is part of the dining room, allowing you as a guest to get close to both the ingredients, the craftsmanship, and the ambiance.
Here, you will be served modern Italian cuisine made with Scandinavian ingredients, cooked with heart and curiosity. The environment is elegant, warm, and designed to highlight the beauty of the food, the meeting, and the conversation. We offer a selection of top Italian wines, handpicked to elevate each dish to its full potential.
We open in the fall of 2025. Then you are warmly welcome to book a place at the table – and partake in a culinary journey where Italy meets the Nordics in a unique and intimate atmosphere.
